Karen Hoop & Silk Karen has always had a keen interest in fitness and sports and has been a personal trainer for almost 10 years. She has cert 3 & 4 in personal training, qualifications in thump boxing, kickboxing, powerflex and full body massage. Karen says she has learnt so much about fitness, exercise and lifestyle over the years and has loved being able to teach others everything she has learned. During her time in the industry, Karen has run outdoor and indoor bootcamps, worked in various gyms doing 1-on-1 and group PT sessions as well as running group fitness classes. Karen also ran community group fitness classes for Melton council and ran her own PT business for over 7 years. Karen started pole dancing in 2015 for something new to try, she was really interested in the strength side of it and thought it would be great cross training. She instantly fell in love and took up aerial silks a few short terms later. She decided that aerials was definitely her thing. Since starting pole and aerials, Karen has entered quite a few pole and aerial competitions and has taken out 1st place inter pole division and 1st place advanced aerials at Ignite heats 2017. 2nd place advanced aerials Ignite Finals 2017 and 1st place in doubles at EPSC 2018. Karen took her love of aerials to the next level by completing the Circus Training Australia instructor qualifications in aerials, majoring in Aerial Silks/Tissu. She taught Aerial Silks for many terms at a local studio and loved watching her students get stronger and more competent every week, and fostering their love of silks.

Shae Pole & Hoop Shae started pole in May 2010. She has always been an excellent pole student and also took to aerials easily as well. Her determination and dedication has seen her excel in everything she does. Shae has competed in VIC state competitions as well as In House studio competitions. She also guest performed as part of the En Pointe Polerinas and as a cameo for Le Chatelier at Pandemoniums IMAGINE 2017. Shae loved pole so much that when she was given the opportunity to teach it to others she grabbed it with both hands, she then began teaching aerial hoop in 2016. Shae is a qualified aerials instructor and is also qualified in massage and so has an in depth understanding of how your muscles are used and react in pole and aerials. Shae has a keen interest in all forms of physical activity but believes the ones we find the most fun will always produce the best results, which is why she encourages everyone who will listen to try pole or aerials at least once in their life.

Ness Pole Ness has been on stage as a die-hard Calisthenics girl since the age of 4. As the daughter of a calisthenics coach and club principal, she was of course raised in leg tan, buns and false eyelashes, and it’s given her a dance foundation and love of performance that she is incredibly grateful for today. Now she wont ever pass up an opportunity to dance- whether it be in a calisthenics class, pole workshop or commercial flash mob! Ness has been a performer in calisthenics teams, and some solos, for over 20 years and has been a coach of both soloists and team for just shy of 10 years. During this time she has proudly taught competition and state-title winning pupils, choreographed numerous performances for a range of ages and abilities and coached girls successfully through level exams. After many years dancing with her feet on the ground, Ness started her aerial life in early 2017 taking up aerial silks at En Pointe and almost a year later Ness decided to take up Pole as well. In her short time poling, Ness has taken out the Beginner 1st place prize at EPSC 2018 and competed in her first national amateur competition Debut where she place 3rd in the intermediate division and also won Best Technique across the whole competition. By far her favourite part of being a dance teacher is creating performances that both pupils and audience members enjoy and remember. But the most rewarding part for her, comes from seeing her students progress and getting excited when they succeed.
