Emmeline discovered aerials in 2012, after participating in gymnastics for a large chunk of her childhood.  She joined us at En Pointe in 2015.

Emmeline has trained in aerial silks, rope, hoop, trapeze and hammock, focusing solely on aerial silks and hammock for the last 2 years.

Emmeline began competing in aerial competitions in recent years and already has 2 winning sashes under her belt after taking out 1st place in the intermediate aerial silks division of EPSC 2017 and 2018.

As a physiotherapist working with children, Emmeline saw the benefit that aerials could have in developing core strength and body awareness and has been using elements of aerials in therapy sessions. She has enjoyed the challenge of adapting the apparatus to allow people to learn new skills and develop strength whilst having fun.

Emmeline is a qualified aerial instructor, having completed and passed the Circus Training Australia circus foundations, Aerial foundations and Aerial silks level 1 instructor courses.

Emmeline is currently teaching our teen classes, aerial hammock and aerial silks.

We’re excited to have Emmeline on the team and know that she has a wealth of knowledge to share with all our students.
